Privacy Policy

Grapesoda Studio Workspace (the "Application") is a private, single-user productivity tool built and operated by Grapesoda Studio, Western Australia ("we", "us", "our"). It assists its operator with everyday work — email, calendar, tasks, documents and contacts — by connecting to the operator's own Google account. This Privacy Policy explains what Google user data the Application accesses, how it is used and stored, and the controls available to the user.

Who uses the Application

The Application is not offered to the public and has exactly one user: the operator of Grapesoda Studio. No third party creates an account, signs in, or interacts with the Application.

Google user data the Application accesses

Only with the operator's explicit consent, and only to provide the features described here, the Application accesses:

• Gmail — reading, searching, organising and labelling emails, and preparing or sending emails on the operator's behalf.
• Google Calendar — viewing and managing calendars, events and schedules.
• Google Tasks — creating and managing task lists and reminders.
• Google Drive, Docs and Sheets — reading and editing files, documents and spreadsheets the operator works with.
• Google Contacts — looking up contact details needed to complete the tasks above.

How the data is used

Google user data is used solely to provide these assistant features to the operator — for example, triaging an inbox, scheduling events, tracking reminders and preparing documents. It is never used for advertising or profiling, is never sold, and is never used to train machine-learning models. No humans other than the operator view the data.

How the data is stored and protected

The Application runs on private infrastructure controlled by the operator. Google OAuth tokens are stored in encrypted form and are never shared. Email, calendar and document data are processed transiently to carry out the operator's instructions; only what is necessary for an operation is retained. All communication with Google services takes place over HTTPS.

Sharing and transfer

We do not share Google user data with third parties, and do not transfer it to others, except where strictly necessary to carry out the feature the operator has requested (for example, sending an email as instructed) or where required by law.

Limited Use

Grapesoda Studio Workspace's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

Data is kept only as long as needed to provide the features above. The operator can revoke the Application's access at any time from the Google Account permissions page (myaccount.google.com/permissions), which immediately stops all further access. To request deletion of any data held by the Application, contact us at the address below.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
